Jesse Terry returns to Northern Light

Fresh off his latest European tour, Jesse is again delighting audiences in the United States.  He last played Northern Light in October 2021, so we are pleased to be having him kicking off our 2024 season.

From an article where he was recently featured in  Americana UK :

“It is easy to compare Terry’s heritage and storytelling to that of Jackson Browne, James Taylor or Bruce Springsteen. Terry has had a fair share of adversity but fortunately is able to craft his experiences into beautiful works of art. His vocal is heavenly, and his melodies are sensational. With credit to producer Neilson Hubbard, the strings, subtle drums, pedal steel and understated harmonies throughout this album give a delicate gravitas, never compromising the beauty of the lyrics.”

The Kennedys

Following the successful release of their highly acclaimed new album, Headwinds,  The Kennedys return to Northern Light for an end-of-summer concert.  We  love these guys, and their music– and are very happy to have them back for a third time.

From a review in Vents Magazine

“They’ve been writing and making music together for decades, and that synergy gained from so much shared creativity is evident in every note of The Kennedys’ brand new album, “Headwinds.” The husband-and-wife duo of Pete and Maura Kennedy — who once worked and toured with Nanci Griffith as part of her Blue Moon Orchestra — make music with a message, and they explore everything from political turmoil to ecological sustainability in this collection of songs. The songwriting is sharp and beautifully nuanced, the musicianship is note-perfect and stellar, and the pair has made one of our favorite albums of the year in “Headwinds.””
